The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Ethnic Studies Pedagogies prepares pre-service/credential candidates, in-service teachers, community educators, and all those interested in teaching Ethnic Studies in K-12 and community contexts. The certificate is a four-course program of study (12 units) that includes specialization in four core areas: (a) literature, (b) history, (c) intersectionality, and (d) pedagogies.
Admissions requirements: Bachelor’s degree; all prospective students should apply through Cal State Apply.

Requirement for the Certificate (12 units)
Select one course from each of the four core areas. At least 6 units should be at the 4000 or 5000 level. Intersectionality (3 units)
