The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certificate is offered by the Department of Geography and Urban Analysis to students with up-to-date theory and technology in spatial analysis (GIS, remote sensing, and spatial statistics). It also provides students a non-degree alternative for acquiring a recognized certification for GIS competency. A total of 32-33 units in the following courses is required for the certificate.
