Course Description: This course engages students into the study and practice of linguistic revitalization in Indigenous communities through an inter-disciplinary lens. Students will learn about current efforts to document, revitalize and preserve Indigenous languages. Through the application of Indigenous-based language learning methodologies and collaborative research, students will become active participants in language reclamation praxis that centers Indigenous resistance and self-determination.
